Responder giving CPR inside an InciTent

Cardiac First Responder

Privacy and dignity while CPR is under way

When someone collapses at a match, on the street or in a shopping centre, Cardiac First Responder (CFR) volunteers and bystanders often have to start CPR and use a defibrillator in full view of the public. The patient's chest has to be exposed for the AED pads, and phones come out quickly. InciTent gives the patient privacy and dignity, and gives responders a calmer space to work, pending the arrival of the ambulance.

Shelter from the rain and wind

InciTent has no floor and a built-in roof, so it goes straight over the patient where they lie, without moving them. It pops up in about 10 seconds and keeps the rain and wind off the patient and the people caring for them.

  • For CFR volunteers: keep it with your response bag and AED, ready for the next call.
  • For clubs, venues and workplaces: store it beside your defibrillator, so it's one less thing to find in an emergency.
  • 4-Sided Tent: fully encloses the patient, with a zip along one long side so responders can get in and out.
  • Folds to a flat 60 cm disc, 3 cm thick.
