InciTent FAQ: Delivery, Returns & Use

Choosing

What's the difference between the 3-Sided and 4-Sided Tent?
The 3-Sided Tent (€109) has an open side, so your first-aider has easy access and room for equipment and a stretcher. It's popular for pitch-side and roadside use. The 4-Sided Tent (€129) encloses the casualty on all four sides, with a zip along one long side for access. It's for busy public places and incident scenes.

Which should our club or school buy?
Most clubs and schools choose the 3-Sided Tent, one per pitch or yard. Our 2-tent (€199) and 3-tent (€260) club packs work out cheaper per tent.

Does InciTent replace first-aid training or a defibrillator?
No. InciTent gives a casualty privacy and shelter. It works alongside a stocked first-aid kit, a trained first-aider and an AED, never instead of them.

How big is it, and how much does it weigh?
Both tents measure 200 × 130 × 125 cm when set up, and fold to a flat disc 60 cm in diameter and 3 cm thick. Each weighs 1 kg.

What's in the box?
The tent, a carry bag, and metal pegs for securing it on grass or similar ground.

How long does it take to put up?
10 seconds. Take it out of the bag and it springs into shape. Folding it back into a flat disc takes a little practice, so try it a few times before you need it.

Can it go over someone without moving them?
Yes. Both tents have no floor by design, so you place them straight over an injured person lying on the ground, without moving them. The roof is built in. Responders get in and out of the 4-Sided Tent through a zip along one long side.

Can it be used in rain and wind?
Yes. InciTent is waterproof, and sheltering casualties from the weather is what it was designed for.
